This article discusses the features and specifics of IP telephony modeling on the Cisco Packet Tracer system platform. An algorithm for constructing a topology and a software code for configuring IP telephony in a data and voice network are presented. The proposed IP-telephony algorithm can be recommended for use in the training process as well as network simulation at the design stage.
